Tansy's musical strengths lie in chanelled harmonic singing, toning, & improvisation; songwriting, musical arrangement & more recently, music production.
Continuing the Soul's journey, amongst others, she has studied indepth on a practical level with:
Tansy continues with her journey through personal study - on the path of true-self realisation, enlightened awareness, & deep inquiry into the heart opening process.
She is currently working on the commencment of her first independantly produced solo artist album.

Alice Cohen

Composer, Musician: Piano, vibraphone and voice.v Alice began composing music in 1978. She has created music for: piano, vibraphone, vocalists & chamber choir, soloists, instrumental ensembles, big band and orchestra, tape, audio-visual works, film & theatre. Her list of works reflects a love of contemporary, classical and jazz idioms.
During the 1990s, Alice composed for: The Contemporary Singers, the Philharmonia Motet Choir, The Seymour Group, Sydney University Symphony Orchestra, The Otto Orchestra Saxophone Quartet with the Canberra Sax Quartet, Gai Bryant's Spare Parts Octet, Tempo Moderno String Quartet, Bernadette Balkus, piano and percussion for the opening Gala Concert for the Australian Women's Music Festival in Sydney 1997, Sprung Percussion Sextet for the opening of the Studio at the Sydney Opera House, 1999 and many others.
In the 1980s and 90s, Alice has performed and composed for film and theatre productions in Sydney and Melbourne. She has also been a concert organiser and performer of the vibraphone for Improvisation workshops and festivals at the University of Sydney, 1993-98. She has also made the Audio-visual, Ypres, 1917, archived as a 25minute video using Frank Hurley's original photographs for the Australian War Memorial, Canberra in 1985.
Alice completed her M.A. (Composition) from the University of Sydney, 1994. She holds a B.A. (Cinema, Drama and Music) from La Trobe University, 1987 and has previously studied at the NSW Conservatorium of Music in the B.Music (Composition) and Associate Diploma of Jazz Studies (Arranging) form 1981-'83.
Alice has studied composition with Peter Sculthorpe, Eric Gross, Gillian Whitehead, Martin Wesley-Smith, and George Golla. She has studied vibraphone with Daryl Pratt from 1993-'97 and briefly with Davis Hewitt, and with Richard Miller in 1983.
Alice guides young pianists; 1998 to the current moment.
